I've been reviewing various newspapers for information on Jane Peal.
The Sikeston Herald - had several short notes regarding her. It said that she was a long-standing citizen of Blodgett - long before it was names "Blodgett" and one article mentioned she "owned/ran" a hotel.
In these articles, there was mentioned a daughter, Mrs. I. H. Marshall (I believe her first name may be Annie) and her son Stephen Peal.
Another article mentioned Jane attending the Marshall reunion.
A Mrs. Bessie Peal was mentioned - this may be Stephen's wife.
In one article it mentioned a Mrs. Harvey Morrison - her niece. I believe this is Ida Belle Pinkerton - daughter of Mary F Withrow and Sanford Pinkerton.
Another one, mentioned that Billy Johnson was moving into a house that was previously occupied by Annie Marshall and formerly owned by Jane Peal.
I'm continuing to review articles and will advise of any updates.
