I did a little research last night -- I looked for Shays and Mayberrys in Jackson County and Ironton County (from the patent deed land descriptions). There's a R. H. Mayberry with a wife Emma Mayberry and two daughters, Emmaline 4 and Margaret 2 -- last night I thought these might be Margaret's parents or at least descendants .. but after looking at the dates again - I don't think so - at least not her parents.
I will also get in touch with my Aunt Georgie and ask that she look through her pictures.
